Gardner Village

Chase went to the petting zoo and had a pony ride when we made a stop at Gardner Village over the weekend. It was probably way too hot to be shopping outside, but thankfully it is national ice-cream month and they were giving out free ice-cream!

Having a good time on the pony ride, but always smiling too late for the camera...

Braxton's Blessing

Braxton in his cute little blessing outfit. The sweater, booties and the blanket were knitted by his great-grandmother.

Mama and Daddy B with the boys

This is the family photo that took forever to get. None of the kids wanted to sit down or stay sitting or look at the camera...I love how no one is ready for the shot.

4th of July

Brian's work made a float for the 4th of July parade out here so Brian took Chase to be part of the parade, but of course I forgot my camera...Auntie Erin took some pictures so hopefully I can post them one day. Later that night, we lit fireworks at our house with family.

Chase loves asking for popsicles, but I don't think he actually ever gets to eat them. They just melt in his hands and he probably only gets 5 licks. I think he likes the idea of holding the popsicle instead of eating it.

Auntie Erin and Uncle Josh brought some fun fireworks over including this huge sparkler that was bigger than the kids.

Braxton hanging out with Mama B

Here is Brian burning all the garbage instead of throwing it away which was just fine until he started burning everything he could find...

Random Pictures

Mama B ordered Chase this blow-up castle jumper. We picked it up from the store the night before and blew it up and got it ready for the next morning. When Chase woke up we told him there was a surprise downstairs and when he saw it he ran and jumped right in. It was so fun to see his excitement for the big surprise.

Braxton does not look too happy here to have Chase holding him, but Chase sure is having fun...

Grandpa and Braxton - It looks like Braxton is smiling too.

Chase's 1st Haircut

The time finally came for Chase to get a haircut. I was so sad to see his curls go, but it was turning into a matted mess and the curls on the side of his head would flip out and look like wings. We took him to Cookie Cutters and as soon as they put on Elmo's World and gave him that blue sucker I don't think he even noticed that he was getting his hair cut. The lady said that she would give him an award as the easiest first haircut she has ever done. He looks so grown up now and I'm really like his new 'big boy' look.

My Two Boys

Chase has had a cold ever since Braxton was born so he hasn't been able to get too close to him and hadn't been able to hold him until I took these pictures. As you can see, he was very excited. When I tried to take Braxton away, he hugged him tight and didn't want to let go. He kept telling me that he wanted to hold "it". He even 'shooshed' me to be quiet for the baby. I just love my two boys, they are so cute!

Braxton Kell Barrow

Braxton is here! He was born on Tuesday, May 27th weighing in at 7.5 pounds. Delivery didn't go as I had planned, my epidural didn't have time to kick in before Braxton decided that he wanted to enter the world which made for the most painful time of my life! But of course it was all worth it. Here are a few pictures of Braxton at the hospital. I need to take some more now that we are at home and I will try to post them soon.

Chase and I took a break from packing, to go to the park. I guess there was some type of museum or something next to the park and they had a train on display. Chase got so excited because he LOVES trains!

And here are some random cute pics of Chase on our way to California Pizza Kitchen...

My blog needs to be updated!!

So I haven't posted anything new lately, but I've been keeping pretty busy. It's almost moving day and I'm so excited to get out of our apartment. The new house is pretty much finished and we'll be moving in the next couple of weeks. It also looks like new baby Barrow (aka: Braxton) may be arriving early just like Chase...I went to the doctor yesterday and my blood pressure is on the way up. Anyways, I'll try to post some new stuff soon!

Chase is Two!

Chase turned 2 on March 11th and I took a picture of the birthday boy when he woke up. He was so happy that I was following him around singing Happy Birthday.

I made this train cake for the kids for Chase's party. I thought it was going to be real easy, but each piece of the train had to be decorated and then pieced together like little cupcakes and it was a little difficult working with the molds. I only had a couple of hours to throw it together so I guess it turned out alright, but Chase thought it was exciting so that's all that matters!

Some cute pictures of Chase at his birthday party and also Chase and his cousins after their Easter egg hunt. We had one for them because they won't get to be together for Easter...

Vacation

We decided to take a trip before the new baby arrives and so we used some of our air miles to fly to Laguna Beach, California. The weather was SO nice and it was horrible coming back to the snow! Chase loved finally being able to be outdoors so much and it was a good break for all of us. Looking at this picture makes me think I need to move...

Chase and I at the San Diego Temple. Well, I thought Brian was taking a picture of me and Chase, but obviously the Temple took over the shot.

We weren't able to check into the hotel yet, and Chase was still in his warm Utah clothes. I couldn't keep him out of the sand and water though...

I think I need to move to Laguna Beach because Chase loves it there!

Chase and I looking at the elephants. Chase was pretty out of it, he just woke up from a nap.

Here are some pics of Chase at the San Diego Zoo.

Chase and Dad getting ready to build a sand castle. I don't think an actual castle was ever made because Chase kept kicking everything over.
