We finally made it up to the zoo before the summer is over and Chase loved it! He is still talking about the big elephant that makes noise and the snake slide and of course the train. Braxton loved getting pushed around in the stroller and looking up at the trees so he was a happy camper the whole time.

Can you go to the zoo and not take this shot?

I liked that this monkey carried around a monkey doll. I wondered if she is lonely...

The Fair and More
All the family met up at the Salt Lake County Fair last weekend and Chase had the funnest time! He went to bed talking about the big slide and the roller coaster and that he touched a pig, and when he woke up the next day the fair was the first thing he started talking about. I love when Chase is excited and having fun.
Grandma bought Chase his own bag of cotton candy
I thought I could share my corn with Chase but he practically ate the whole thing!
The big yellow slide! (That's Chase and Brian out in front)
Chase and the pig
Chase and Jeffrey in the helicopter with Holly
Chase and Hayley having a good time in the cars
I love these pictures of the roller coaster. Faythe's face makes me laugh so hard!!
Chase and Braxton after bath time...so cute!
My sweet little guy just loves to be sitting up so he can look around. Here he is propped up on the couch.
This is Chase's new favorite hiding spot when he is playing hide and seek. I think Brian hid there under the stairs one time and now Chase thinks it is the greatest hiding place ever!

Goodbye Angus
So our family dog Angus passed away today. He was 12 years old I think, so he was definitely an old man. People would always tell us how 'unattractive' Angus was, but we all loved him and he was a sweet, gentle dog. I took some pictures of Chase with Angus when I was at my parents' house because I knew he probably wouldn't be around much longer. Chase loved going with Grandpa to give Angus treats and would always tell me that he wanted to go with Grandpa to feed Angus an egg. Bye Angus, I'm sure Eden has been waiting to see you again.

I pulled out some baby toys so Chase could play with his brother and it was so cute because Braxton was really excited about it. Chase held the phone to Braxton's ear but decided he wanted to play with it and took it from him saying 'Chase's turn'. Then Chase played with the baby rattle phone for like 20 minutes calling Auntie Holly.

Gardner Village
Chase went to the petting zoo and had a pony ride when we made a stop at Gardner Village over the weekend. It was probably way too hot to be shopping outside, but thankfully it is national ice-cream month and they were giving out free ice-cream!

Having a good time on the pony ride, but always smiling too late for the camera...

Braxton's Blessing
Braxton in his cute little blessing outfit. The sweater, booties and the blanket were knitted by his great-grandmother.

This is the family photo that took forever to get. None of the kids wanted to sit down or stay sitting or look at the camera...I love how no one is ready for the shot.

4th of July
Brian's work made a float for the 4th of July parade out here so Brian took Chase to be part of the parade, but of course I forgot my camera...Auntie Erin took some pictures so hopefully I can post them one day. Later that night, we lit fireworks at our house with family.
Chase loves asking for popsicles, but I don't think he actually ever gets to eat them. They just melt in his hands and he probably only gets 5 licks. I think he likes the idea of holding the popsicle instead of eating it.
Auntie Erin and Uncle Josh brought some fun fireworks over including this huge sparkler that was bigger than the kids.
Braxton hanging out with Mama B
Here is Brian burning all the garbage instead of throwing it away which was just fine until he started burning everything he could find...

Random Pictures
Mama B ordered Chase this blow-up castle jumper. We picked it up from the store the night before and blew it up and got it ready for the next morning. When Chase woke up we told him there was a surprise downstairs and when he saw it he ran and jumped right in. It was so fun to see his excitement for the big surprise.
Braxton does not look too happy here to have Chase holding him, but Chase sure is having fun...
Grandpa and Braxton - It looks like Braxton is smiling too.

Chase's 1st Haircut
The time finally came for Chase to get a haircut. I was so sad to see his curls go, but it was turning into a matted mess and the curls on the side of his head would flip out and look like wings. We took him to Cookie Cutters and as soon as they put on Elmo's World and gave him that blue sucker I don't think he even noticed that he was getting his hair cut. The lady said that she would give him an award as the easiest first haircut she has ever done. He looks so grown up now and I'm really like his new 'big boy' look.

My Two Boys
Chase has had a cold ever since Braxton was born so he hasn't been able to get too close to him and hadn't been able to hold him until I took these pictures. As you can see, he was very excited. When I tried to take Braxton away, he hugged him tight and didn't want to let go. He kept telling me that he wanted to hold "it". He even 'shooshed' me to be quiet for the baby. I just love my two boys, they are so cute!
